About Rotifer News (RN)

The Rotifer News (RN) was initiated by Prof. J. J. Gilbert (Founding Editor) after actively participating in an assembly of scientists working on rotifers at the 18th Congress of the Societas Internationalis Limnologiae Theoreticae & Applicatae (Leningrad, Aug. 1971). Subsequently during Nov. 1972, Prof. Gilbert invited different rotifer workers to contribute to Rotifer News by providing updated mailing addresses and returning the questionnaires with requested information. Thus, the first issue of Rotifer News was printed in 1973. The RN has been serving global workers on rotifers for almost 4 decades. It has been edited by J.L. Gilbert (issues 1-3), J. Litton & R.L. Wallace (4-13), R.L. Wallace, P.N. Turner & J. Litton (14), R.L. Wallace, & P.N. Turner (15-19) and R. Shiel (20-33). Visit the Archives of Rotifer News.
